This may be nothing. In my first Pap smear, I had the same thing. I started to freak. Someone says ASCUS: atypical squamous cells undetermined significance. To set the first mine: Since my father first cervical cells are a typical variety. Mine was atypical - that is, in fact, another part of my body or another person. Squamous means it has a strange way. Ex: If the space has been found that the cells typically round, scaly plates. Significance is unknown: I may have cancer, maybe not.

Sincerely metaplastic reason? Metaplastic means that you had before the chest, and that these newly formed squamous / has been discovered recently.

In order to clarify everything: The first time I had abnormal cells in the cervix - the only cells of the cervix are not normal.

In my case came to me with a piece of paper that say the timetable for another appointment with my gynecologist about it. My gynecologist said it could have been a number of things. It gave me an antibiotic "just incase" and said that I should re-SCHedule other cooked 1 weeks after I my antibiotics. She told me not to have sex a week even) from my father (not used 5-7 days prior to the suspension. It proved to be an inflammation of some sort, and nothing to fear.

However, you must make an appointment with a gynecologist to discuss the set, because it can be very serious.

Good luck with your next appointment and Gynecologists.
