Games For Autistic Children What Games To Play To Teach Children About Autism?

What games to play to teach children about autism? - games for autistic children

My friends and I are a service project for the community to raise awareness about autism. We are planning a carnival with game stations for children to participate in training to take on autism. Basically, we are only understood them to be autistic, or to learn more about autism through the game will now the only game we can get charades. The children range from 7 years to 12 years.

Do you have suggestions for games? :)

Another game that you could be a fan, and shows once again how difficult it is to communicate something which is as follows:

- Place small objects, like a clothes pin, key, battery, ring, must (and so each in a small cotton bag, so they too close) of the same suit and tie.

- Create two identical bags of each item. And the children into two teams. Each child receives a bag. He / she needs to feel what's in the bag and describe his team-mates without the theme name. Example: Reference - which is made of metal, you can use to open a door, teeth, etc.

- The time for them. Guess the shortest time, a high score.

This will show children how people with autism can often create a mental image of something (thinking in images), but it is difficult to convey () to put into words what they see "in his head.

Because the children do not see the problem, but see, by touch, create a 3-D image of the spiritual questions that thinks the way an autistic person to a similar point before Communicgen, which they think describe in words, the mental image is more difficult, so the speech of many children with autism are very fragmented because it is a 3-D mental image 2 describes - D words. ..

Once these small pockets of articles, you can again and again. If they get dirty and share in only one pilowcase and washed in the washing machine.

Good luck!
